Yup! Again!
Students at our school voted (51.6%) FOR continuing the strike. Needless to say that the offer Jean-Marc Fournier made about 1 week ago now is completely toughtless and absurd. I think we have proven that we won’t yield.
We had some great visit today : Xavier Lafrance and the spokeswoman of the CASSÉÉ. Great to see that.
** WOW ** As I were writing those words, I saw on TV that some policemen were striking on some students because they were about 200 blocking a building’s entry.
Damn! I don’t believe that. Since the beginning of this conflict, all the police force is against us. And… I didn’t hear anything about students doing some breakage. (But I can’t confirm that since I wasn’t there this afternoon)
A couple of hours ago (around 1 p.m.), high-school students joined us to protess. We went marching in Drummondville (wow! a town of 50000 people and we were there, marching, blocking traffic, shouting, yelling, etc.). We were about… I say 200, probably less, on the main boulevard of Drummondville having fun and noting that the population is still with us.
Anyway, this unlimited stike will probably stop by monday since we’re risking our winter session… and we don’t want that. Hope this will continue next automn.

Well, I’m glad actually that 50% of students associations rejected the minister of education Mr Fournier made a couple of days ago. I’m glader to see that the Cegep of Drummondville was the first to reject that offer. In my opinion, that’s a big step forward to democracy.
We’re curently doing our 6th week of strike resulting in the biggest students’ strike ever in Quebec history (maybe the 2nd biggest… but anyway). I take this moment to congratulate every people who made this strike possible and so long.
For a better and more equal tomorrow.

Programmation
During the PHP Québec 2005 conference, I had a very intense need to code. Anything. I would even code my own news module, but it would be useless. Unless, o’ course, I start to use some PEAR packages which would be new to me.
Anyway, I decided to help some friends of mine and me with a new application. It’ll hosts pictures and files for their blog entries (mostly on LiveJournal) instead of getting an account on some free hosting service. “But there’s already FlickR, ImageShack, and everything” you’ll say. Of course there is. But I have some ideas in mind that I’m not telling you for the moment (unless I have a/some comment(s) that tell(s) me to do telling ‘em).
When I’ll finish those idea (in other words, the core of what will be my new application) I’ll tell you through this blog. Hope you’ll stay tuned to know what it is, because I’m pretty sure you’ll like it especially if you’re a programmer.

Well, I’m glad to start my own blog. Not my first one though, since I already write on LiveJournal under the nickname Shouter (Yeah, I love to shout about everything that make me go crazy… that means anything). I’ll try to maintain it every twice a week minimum, but this won’t be easy. We all have a very intense life where everything should be done quickly and painfully (for the one who does it) so…
Enjoy! and I’ll write a new entry right after this one (to make sure I’ll have at least 2 blog entries this week, ’cause it wouldn’t be a nice start).
