Howdy there people.

I’m back from a show : Grimskunk. Of course there was a first part. First Major Lee, then the French group Wolfunkind. I really enjoyed it. Wolfunkind kinda brings back the old Rage Against the Machine style… a little less hardcore I must say. But anyway, I wasn’t there for those 2 groups, but for Grimskunk (as said earlier). The bad part is that they did the same songs [in somewhat the same order] as their last show here in Drummondville.

I’m gonna post photos of that show which you’ll can see Here.

Oh and euhhh… hope to see you next week for the last tour of Groovy Aardvark. Wink Wink. Same hour, same place.

I was in class today, being bored, and started to write some geek jokes on a paper. And then I came up with this one which describes the class I attended when I thought of it

I’ve set up my gallery. “At last” you’ll say. Yes, at last, but I had some problems with my hosting service. Gallery isn’t working, so I had to go with MG2 (minigal 2). But since I don’t pay anything for hosting, I’m not complaining… as long as I can set up any gallery script there is.

Make sure you visit my gallery and I’m expecting you to post some comments on some of my photos.

I’m learning every day even if I do PHP since 2002-2003 (I don’t remember dates very well :P) and what I must say is that I’m going to make some nice pieces of code in the next… let’s say… summer. Well, what do you want, I’m a busy guy and school and my job are taking all my free time (god I wish I could speak about PHP stuff at some conferences).

Anyway, that’s all for now because I don’t want to reveal my projects (altough they are really simple).

I want to announce the next PHP Québec :: Drummondville meeting will be May 2nd at the Cegep de Drummond around 7 p.m. The subject(s) aren’t decided yet since I’m the only organiser/speaker for those monthly meetings. But I can’t tell that what I’m going to talk about will be very basic stuff (like “Strings In PHP” I did this month).

Today I just received an e-mail from Zend.com which told me that I successfully passed the certification exam at the PHP Québec 2005 Conference. The funny thing is that I felt asleep during the test and altough I took 1.5 hours (we have 3 hours max to do it), I passed it.

The next thing to do is to convince all my computer science teachers to do the certification, just for laugh (as I did) and to see if I’m better in PHP than them. As far as I know, only 1 or 2 teachers know PHP well enough to do it, but anyway, it’s not like you need that to have a job. However, I encourage you to spend $200 only if it will give you something in return (except congrats from your boss and teammates at work :P).
